Sky plus is ready to go. Tomorrow lunchtime the crunch Arsenal - United game will be recorded, for my viewing pleasure 24 hours later, when I get home.

The only challenge, is to completely avoid hearing about it first.

Meanwhile, I'll be at a wedding, with around a hundred other people. Judging from the stag weekend, there aren't many football fans there, but it only takes one....

The match itself should be a cracker. It's strange that for years, we were immense rivals, disliking so much about each other. But since the arrival of Chelsea's ugly football, petulant manager and repulsive attitude, a new sense of perspective has been gained.

Now, the two teams are filled with respect for each other, and it is not even grudging - both are open about how good the other team are. If it carries on like this, Wenger and Fergie will be laughing and hugging on the touchline. Okay, perhaps not.

So enjoy the match tomorrow, and I'll try to enjoy it on Sunday. And let no-one give me an inkling before then.
